Digital Crumbs
01. What is a Cookie?
A cookie is a tiny text file dropped on your device. It is not a snack. It is a tracking beacon.
We use them to remember who you are, what resorts you saved to your "Stash," and to see if you actually read these pages (Analytics).
02. Inventory
Local Storage (The Stash)
We use your browser's Local Storage to save your favorite resorts. If you block this, your stash disappears.
Site Analytics
We use privacy-focused analytics to track page views and see which regions are popular. This data is anonymized and aggregated. We don't track individual users.
Booking Partners
If you click a link to Booking.com, they drop a cookie to know we sent you. This is how we get paid. Please don't block this, or we starve.
03. Going Dark
YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN INVISIBLE.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox).
WARNING: If you disable Local Storage, the "Stash" feature will break, and you will have to remember your favorite resorts using a pen and paper like it's 1995.
